I'm calling you out, that was the worst performance from a good UConn player ever and Shabazz wasn't much better. No team is going to win when they get 2 combined points from their backcourt, especially this UConn team. The good thing is they are both coming back next year, Ollie and they both know they aren't ready. You simply cannot get outplayed like that by a freshman point guard. This should be a good learning experience for them, they need to get better. Next year could be very special.

He got the sarcastic cheer from the UConn crowd when he finally scored in garbage time, and it was rightfully deserved. Just an awful, awful performance from a guy who's supposed to be a leader for this team.

If anything, hopefully this game showed Boatright that he is absolutely not ready for the NBA jump.

I didn't know you could have that bad of a game.

Yep.

He played like crap and showed he wasn't ready to run the team when Bazz went out.

I literally can't believe that separately Boat and Bazz each woke up today and asked themselves the same exact question...."Hmmmm, do I want to play today? Or do I want to suck major balls?"

I am astounded that they each chose the balls.

Late late in the game Boat and Bazz had a combined 2 points and 9 turn overs. Good thing is - it wont hurt our post season chances. KO should certainly have their attention after this one. Going to be a long week until Cincy on Thursday. Should be a fun game - we will see if they can bounce back.

I just hope he wasn't point shaving. I love Boat but you have to try to play that bad.

I've wondered about that all season for TO other than the ND game which I thought was a set up!:)

At several points during the game I thought the very same thing = it's gotta be point-shaving b/c you gotta go out of your way to be that BAD!

Even a below average to average game from Boat and Bazz and we win by 10. On them even thinking about the NBA after this year, if you are 6 foot and under you have to be damn near amazing to declare early for the NBA, you can't have any flaws in your game. They both clearly still have flaws, Boat has a lot of flaws.

How many times did he completely miss the rim on jumpers? 3 or 4? Did Rose's brother tell him he put money on Nova or something?

I usually take every loss worse than most people. Sometimes even wins. Heck I punched my coffee table and knocked over my beer destroying my MacBook Air against PC. But this loss I'm not that upset, because I know Bazz and Boat are definitely coming back next season (when it matters). I'd love to hear a conversation between the NBA scouts that were at this game.

I just woke up didn't even watch the game. did you guys see boat guard mcw full court all game ? My guess is he has bad conditioning

No way shabazz or boat are nba ready. No way, no how.

... And that's why although I hate this loss but it's a blessing in disguise because these kind of games bring Shabazz and Boat back next year. You can call me a selfish fan but in a season that's means nothing I'll welcome one more horrible performance from both of those guys if it Quiets the NBA talk and brings them back next season. Beautiful .

I hate to be a broken record, but the both of them were awful. There were so many wtf moments between the two of them. Whether it was shot selection, terrible passes, bad fouls, etc. Almost all of this loss is on them.
