Haven’t noticed her.
Her and Maori Davenport have not played much at all this season. It’s shocking because both are the most talented players on the team

If Minnesota could shoot they'd be winning this game. Minnesota is shooting 28% for the game and is only 4 015 on three point shots. (26%)

Minnesota with the improbably comeback in the final minute to send it to OT.

MN has the ball with 4.4 seconds left and the score tied.

No dice. Going to 2OT. This has been hard fought and dramatic.

Whoa. That was a heart-stopper. Rutgers hit a lucky banked 3 to cut the lead to 1, and then had a chance to win the game on the buzzer. Sanders put up a 3 that clanked off the front rim.

Minnesota has had a bunch of close losses, so this one has to feel good. And even though they're still only 3-7 in conference, they're still in the hunt for a possible NCAA bid. RPI is now #54 and they have wins over Arizona State, Purdue and Rutgers. But they'll need some more wins like this one down the stretch.

Minnesota made a recent lineup change that seems to have made a difference, starting freshman Powell. Minnesota is 2-1 since the change. Very poised for a freshman PG. Oddly enough, she’s only on the team because Pitts was her high school teammate. Somehow, she stuck around after Pitts left.

I think Minnesota should do one more lineup change for the full tweak. Have both Bello twins starting in the post. The paint defense is so much better with both of them.

Who did Powell replace in the starting lineup?

She's impressive overall although she did show some freshman moments late in the game. But I believe she'll be great for the Gophers.

After Pitts left, they were starting Adashchyk, who is a guard with similar size to Pitts. I’m not a huge fan of the 4 guard starting lineup in my P5 team.

Is Powell that much bigger?

This was an ugly game to watch. Minnesota had 26 turnovers and most were major head scratchers as in stupid passes. They struggled with the press by RU. If Rutgers had any semblance of an offense, they should have won given all those chances. Despite Brooke Weisbrod’s comments, Neither of these teams should make the NCAAT if they play like today. Rutgers had its fate in its hands but their schedule becomes very hard- Penn State (w), @Maryland (L), @Mich St (L), Michigan (?), @Northwestern (L), Ohio State (?), Wisconsin (W), Iowa (L). That’s 2-4 with 2 toss ups. That 8-8 with the 2 toss-ups. Not sure their resulting RPI would be strong enough if they finish like that.

Here’s the last 0:38.2 of regulation
plus the last 0:33.7 of OT
plus the last 0:37.4 of OT2

That’s less than 2 min of game time, and even though it has no commercials, it has all the timeouts and commentary throughout. It’s a 20 minute video, but I think it’s pretty entertaining basketball. I may be a little biased though.
