Only posting this as it could impact UConn's local recruiting as Rutgers is in the B1G; but, their facilities will be several steps behind UConn's new facilities once they are built.

Rutgers fills its baseball head coach vacancy with 1 of the winningest coaches in the country

Rutgers AD Pat Hobbs has appointed Steve Owens, a highly successful coach at Bryant in Rhode Island, as the 13th head coach in Scarlet Knights baseball history.

Good for Owens- Maybe Steve will be happy to schedule his good buddy Jim Penders in a few H/H moving forward (except it would probably hurt our RPI - Rutgers @ 189 versus Bryant @ 87 this year ).
