Good for the Cardinals, that would definitely help them out.

Looks like this will be Russell's second visit to Louisville.

No mention of a visit to UConn.

This gives further credence to the rumor that Russell and Mavunga want to play together.

While it would have been nice to get Russell and Mavunga, I think we will be in good shape. Also, this news makes 2014 especially important as it relates to a recruiting a highly touted center. Maybe Brianna Turner from TX will consider us.

I hope they dont go to Louisville together, but I would rather them go there, as opposed to another school in the state directly below Kentucky.... and Im not talking about Vanderbilt or MTSU

Those two plus 3 warm bodies may propel Louisville into the major leagues.

Yeah, I'd like to help Jeff out. Which way did he come in? :p

So what's Russell's problem with UConn? She obviously doesn't have concerns about coming East. Is she worried about playing time in the post as a freshman, with Dolson in Stef's senior year and Stewart in Breanna's sophomore year?

That's what they said about Louisville when the Cardinals imported the Schimmel girls. Speaking of the Major Leagues, where is Louisville going to be playing in a few years, anyway? I can't remember all the teams who've switched conferences because of college football's BCS money grubbing.

i'm hoping L'ville lands them both. listening to some orange fans talk about how they will take 5 or so of the top 10 kids in the class is cloying at best.

^^^^^^ Me too! I feel real good about the fact that Russell is coming back for an second unofficial visit. I expect her to be back a 3rd time early next fall on an official visit.

To my knowledge Mavunga has not visited before, but I am uncertain of that. She is awfully close in proximity to not have visited before now.

President's Day in Louisville is not really recognized. This is a 2:00 game, on ESPN, on what for most of us is a work and school day. Our fan base is pretty consistently 9-11,000 per game. We hope to impress the visitors with our very active fanbase. We sold outthe arena last year vs. TN and KY. Would expect to do that for Notre Dame and you all, too. Sold out being 22,000+.

Couldn't agree with you more. For some reason, a few of the orange fans think the only way Russell could win a National Championship is if she went to TENN. Give me a break! Maybe the 2 of them want to help L'ville win their first National Championship.

Let's see go to L-ville and play for JW or go to Knoxville and an uncertain future.

The arrogance of some of the comments over there are amazing. Some poster even went as far as to say that they felt sorry for Elizabeth Williams for picking Duke and her hopes of winning a championship at Duke.
