Rushing to the Head of the Class in Connecticut

Connecticut has an exceptional senior class of running backs this season in Harold Cooper of Hillhouse, Marcus Outlow of Norwich Free Academy, Arkeel Newsome of Ansonia and Ervin Philips of West Haven. All are being courted by NCAA Division I programs, a remarkable feat for a small state.

Very happy we have Newsome. Still wondering why Cooper doesn't have offers. If we can pick up Cooper too, maybe as a preferred walkon if there are no scholarships, that would be awesome.

Cooper shared carries with Anderson last year who's at U New Haven. Look for cooper to get 25 carries a game. They play Darien Xavier and Hand in the first month.
