To accept the player option for next year with the kings or decline it and join free agency. Would love for him to go the Lakers and get some serious exposure.

It would be beyond insane for him to decline the option. It's worth 19+ mil. He'll never be able to sign a new deal for anything close to that per year. I'm sure the Kings are praying he declines it.

Rudy did just fine in Sac. Even increasing his fg% by almost 10% compared to Toronto. I am not saying he is deserving of max money but in situations where he does not have to score in iso all the time he is a pretty damn good player. Would not call him a go to guy but don't see him as an average player either.

If I was Rudy I would absolutely decline it and even if they signed me to a 5 year 14mm per--Ill take that 51mm extra in the bank. Rudy wont get 19 but he will get 13-15 per over 5 years if he signs back w Sac.

No way he opts out. 19m guaranteed does not get declined unless you're a top tier player and about to get a max extension.

RG doesn't endear himself to many people/fans.
Memphis grew tired of his inconsistent play and his lack of desire to take a leadership role so they shipped him to Toronto where he despised going and the fans couldn't wait to see him go - the Raptors went something like 44-22 after he left.
I know the guy has skills and can be brilliant but he is very soft and question his heart.
I would love to see him open up and play brilliant in Sacramento.
He doesn't have the onions to play in LA or NYC. just my opinion
