Looks like the weights were updated for this year's roster:

Lost weight
Eric Cobb: 280 --> 249

Josh Carlton: 242 --> 235

Gained weight
Alterique Gilbert: 171 --> 180

Isaiah Whaley: 190 --> 210

Tyler Polley: 190 --> 200

Mamadou Diarra: 217 --> 225

Kwintin Williams: 211 --> 221

Vital, Adams and Wilson are around the same as last year (177, 195, 177 respectively)

Did we get an official before/after picture for Cobb? Have seen a bunch of other programs do those.

All weights trending in then right direction. Maybe a sign of more good things to come.

With all the talk of Carlton needing to get tougher, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't added weight. Hopefully he's just replacing fat with muscle?

Hoping a lot of time with the new S and C coach has turned fat into muscle for these guys. Cobb’s wait loss is awesome though.

Nice to see Whaley and Polly make gains.

Whaley at plus 20 can make a difference

So Sid Wilson is 6’8” and weighs 177?? I’m 5’10” 170 and I got pushed around when I played pickup in the rec center. That is wayyyy too skinny for a D1 3/4.

Whaley at 210 is surprising, in a good way. He's got a ceiling based on his skill set, but can easily see him picking up 20 minutes a game or more based on his ability to rebound and play D

He's also got more bounce than Carlton and Cobb, so he's a way easier lob target than those guys in transition.

I may be overly optimistic, but I think he could average 2+ blocks a game. For all he lacks on the offensive end, he seemed to have great timing to go along with very good athleticism. I think we could see him playing with Cobb/Carlton at the same time because of his ability to switch on defense and cover space well.

Surprised at Vital at 177 and Adams at 195. JA is a bit taller but I would have thought the weights would be the other way around. Vital has muscle which weighs more.

Can't believe Wilson didn't gain any weight at all. That's disappointing. He weighs less than Alterique now!

I'm high on Whaley this year. He was pretty reliable last year and it's great he gained some weight. I think I saw him hitting some 3's at First Night too - would be big if he could make those work in games.

Also - Carlton listed at 6'10" now. He was definitely at 6'9" last year.

JMO, but I think you’ll see more good things out of Whaley, Polley and Carlton this year than you might otherwise expect. All 3 have very useful skills and had a year to develop. Polley might be the best jump-shooter; Whaley has length, bounce and timing, and Carlton has long arms and a post game. All useful if used right.

If anything, the lack of depth at the center position is a bit disconcerting.

You would think that we'd at the minimum have a 6'11 guy coming off the bench.

Carlson is going to have to stay healthy and play smart. An injury or foul trouble will create a challenge for this team.

Sid apparently did nothing but eat a really big burrito between weigh-ins.

If Sidd is naturally twig-like it’s VERY difficult to put muscle mass on.

It’s easier to put on muscle if you’re 5’9”

Sid has some definition to him, you can see it. He’s just a skinny dude.

I read in a Sid Wilson article or interview that he has added 8 pounds of muscle back in August or so.

Love that Isaiah Whaley has added 20 pounds of size and muscle, and maybe that 10 pounds that Tyler Polley gained will be noticed with his strength and toughness. That'll make his game jump.
