Just because you can't shoot or dribble doesn't mean you can't play on the perimeter in the nba. Look at Tony Allen.

In the NBA your position is about who you can guard, and Roscoe can definitely guard 3's. If he could shoot the ball a little better from three he could be a serviceable "3 and D" guy on a second unit.

This, Andre Roberson is alot like Roscoe, same build, hybrid 3/4 with very little in the way of a perimeter game, and he was a monster on the glass at Colorado. He got drafted first round by OKC and they're now converting him into a 3 & D guy by having him work on his corner 3 point shot, he even started at SG in Thabo Sefalosha's place when he was injured. Roscoe can definitely make it as a defender if he plays on a team with talented offensive weapons just like Roberson.

The only reason Tony Allen is in the NBA is because he's one of the best 2-3 perimeter defenders on the entire planet.
