Was it common knowledge that he was transferring? I haven't been too active on the board and overall in the sports news in the last week so maybe I was just unaware of this.

At this point, we won't even have enough players to be able to have a 5-on-5 scrimmage next year in practice. Time to start evaluating the intramural games on campus to find a few players to fill the practice squad!:(

lol @ this getting lumped in with a frigging Rodney Purvis post and being labeled as a tidbit.

Wow, why on earth would Bradley transfer? I like this kid and the playing time will certainly be there for him this coming season, this seems very strange. I wonder if it was a case where Bradley just isn't good enough at this level but that would surprise me considering we don't have too many options with bigmen.

how does this type of thing completely escape the uconn beat writers? none of them had no idea of this developing? hopefully this is a sign that we have some bigmen coming in because if not we're really ducked.

who honestly cares whether or not the guy calls it a tidbit, shouldnt the discussion be directed towards another front court guy leaving?

Maybe Bradley really wants to get back to his ailing grandma.... Otherwise this is very very strange...

Well, really hope we get some monster surprise like Tony Parker, or even Obekpa...

But I'm not holding my breath

So our only options at center next year are Olander and Wolf?

If he's really looking at the Atlantic Sun and the Sun Belt (two play-in game conferences), that just tells you how unprepared he would have been for high-major competition. If true, this is probably a good move for both Bradley and the program. And since he's an excellent student, there shouldn't be any APR concerns despite yet another transfer.

My thoughts exactly. I was optimistic about his development, but if crappy SEC schools like Auburn and the Mississippi's aren't even interested, I question how he would have handled BE play.

OK, seriously this one came out of left field no? Has it been confirmed past this single article?

He doesn't have a body of work to present to any schools tho. Not saying he would've been ready to play at this level since we haven't seen anything either, but his final choices wereDrake and UConn, that's already a pretty big difference right there. Kind of hard to shop yourself to lower level SEC schools when you literally haven't played a game in 2 years.

If ppl step back for a sec and look at it, next year is going to be tuff brad or no brad if we don't land a big guy or 2 in this class. long run this helps for a better recruit to fill that ship but next year this hurts just like everything else...just have to hope the apr is ok.

I mostly lurk, but this is truly odd. UConn's pharmacy program is a top tier one, and surrendering a scholarship to it is downright baffling. Without knowing any details, I can only speculate that it is because of personal hardship and a desire to be close to home. Oh well, I wish him, and as importantly his family, good luck.

Bradley isn't a pharmacy major, he was leaning towards business, it was discussed in articles

Or maybe he decided to change his major?
