I think Queen is so underrated. Freddie is obviously one of the best ever to do it, but Brian May is ridiculously talented. They made so many great songs; they're just such a fun band to rock out to. If I ever need to get pumped up for anything, I'll throw on "Don't Stop Me Now" and that never fails to jack me up.

The key to Don't Stop Me Now is to watch it in Shaun of the Dead.

Too much Covid for me so here is a silly game. There are no winners/losers. We might find out who we would attend a concert with after we all get vaccinated:)
Pick one of the two.

Jim Morrison vs. Van Morrison
Eddie Vedder vs. Eddie Van Halen
Jeff Beck vs. Beck
Bob Dylan vs. Bob Marley
Stevie Ray Vaughn vs. Stevie Nicks
Jimmy Page vs. Jimi Hendryx
Elvis Presley vs. Elvis Costello
Smokey Robinson vs. Chris Robinson
Deadheads vs. Parrotheads
Chicago vs. Kansas
Queen vs. Prince
Black Sabbath vs. Pink Floyd

Jesus there is only one tough one on here.

1) van. Jim Morrison is a fraud buffoon.
2) Van Halen ( and I reall like and know personally ( for two days and 4 hours of shooting pool, Eddie vedder, great singer and great guy but Eddie Van Halen reinvented an instrument whether you love him or hate him)
3) Jeff beck not close
4) this one torture. Because Marley beats everyone else on list, but Dylan by a mile.
5) SRV
6) Hendrix. Page a great songwriter (at least on the stuff he didnt steal) but totally overrated guitar player.
7) has to be Presley,
8) Smokey,
9) deadheads. Parrot heads are a cheap drunken imitation but I’m one of those too
10) this is the Lol. Chicago, Kansas shouldn’t be in same breath or universe.
11) actually second toughest. But Queen
12) Floyd. I like good sabbath Floyd’s output rules that

There were some very close calls, though. Particularly Queen vs. Prince and Page vs. Hendrix

Depends on how you read the OP. I read it as who would you like to attend a concert with, as in you are going to the concert of another performer, but you are attending it with one of the people you choose.

I don't think there's any question that Marley wins that one every day, twice on Sundays.

I assume you're just playing around, but, if not, this is not a rational interpretation of the OP whatsoever.

As to your second point, I think a concert with a young Ozzy would be unforgettable. I'd give him the edge over Bob.

OP definitely framed it as who would you want to go to a concert with.

I definitely think @QDOG5 intended it the way everyone else has answered it, but I think our take makes for a more interesting question.

My idea was which other boneyarders (based on their answers would you want to go see a concert with) because of shared musical interest. My ability to phrase a cogent thought in writing is obviously horrible. But if I can deviate from the thread I started if I had to see one of the artists in concert it would be Hendrix. If I had to attend a concert with of the artists it would be Bob Marley. Also, Deadhead vs. Parrothead is about the bands not the fans.

Jim Morrison vs. Van Morrison - Doors have more good songs to me
Eddie Vedder vs. Eddie Van Halen - I never liked VH, Pearl Jam either but my brother tells me they rock the XL
Jeff Beck vs. Beck - This was tougher than it looked, JB is great but gets boring quick. Beck, not enough
Bob Dylan vs. Bob Marley - I think Dylan is underrated
Stevie Ray Vaughn vs. Stevie Nicks - SRV is a master, SN got Lindsey fired and the band is far worse for it
Jimmy Page vs. Jimi Hendryx - I went to Experience Hendryx a few years ago, I'm still good
Elvis Presley vs. Elvis Costello - Elvis was a hero to most but he never meant merde to me
Smokey Robinson vs. Chris Robinson - I saw Smokey sing after a UHar game. Tho Chris at Infinity was cool
Deadheads vs. Parrotheads - In a runaway
Chicago vs. Kansas - For 25 or 6 to 4 alone
Queen vs. Prince - Was never a big Queen guy, Prince was awesome in concert
Black Sabbath vs. Pink Floyd - Another runaway, BS is a one song band to me

If we're gonna get real literal, Dylan's alive and Marley's not.

Offshoot here from seeing anyone choose Jimmy Buffett.

What am I missing there? Cheeseburger in Paradise? Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw? Okay. You and the Mrs "tailgate" before the concert with the foot doctor that lives across the street. You break out your plastic leis and Hawaiian shirts. Suck back a few Jose Cuervo margs. Head in and scream the lyrics at the top of your lungs and wake up with a hangover in the morning.

I answered the way you and @superjohn did as well. Dylan was still tough, because I think he’d be an interesting music critic. Sabbath over Floyd was only because Ozzie is more fun than the Pink Floyd guys. And attending with a young Stevie Nicks would be a plus.

It's either that or hanging out with A-Dub. I thought you'd go for hanging out with the guy who brought the freezer with six bullet holes drawn on it with a black magic marker.

Buffett shows are fun. Everyone's having a good time. You're not really missing anything.
