Robert (Bob) Quinn - Patriots Director of Scouting - UCONN Grad

Just thought I would mention that Bob Quinn (1998 UCONN grad) is the very highly respected Patriots Director of Scouting (or something similar) and is a leading candidate for several GM jobs in the NFL.

The Detroit Lions just interviewed him and its likely he will either get this job or another GM position this year.

Just good to see UCONN so highly visible in the NFL as it can only help our program going forward.

BTW, the Anaheim Angels GM is a UCONN grad and Chuck Nagy (former UCONN star and Olympian) is their new Pitching coach.

Give his glowing comments about Quinn the first part isn't likely. If he was pissed off about this he wouldn't be able to say, "We've moved on to KC" often enough. Belichick is on good terms with many of his former employees. There have been a few that left on bad terms (one former Jets coach comes to mind), but they are the minority. Hell, if you leave on good enough terms he might even bring you back if it doesn't work out (see his current OC).
