Stole the game Friday night. Stopped 70 of 73 shots this weekend. Invaluable to have a young goaltender with his skills when trying to grow the program.

You can definitely see the difference Andrew Raycroft has made in nichol's game...and I'm going to give Nichols all the credit for that...Raycroft is giving him the tools...but Nichols is definitely putting in the work! It will be fun to watch him continue to grow with this program.

I don't think Raycroft could be proud of anyone of his goalies after the 10-1 massacre at PC - Yikes !! Good news is the game came in very clear on COX cable which only cost $ 5.00 to watch for this single game.

I thought Nichols looked awfully good last season. He really was the better goalie down the stretch. I was pretty comfortable that he had the tools to be the #1 this year. Not to say he didn't get help from the coaches but he was a pretty nice player coming into the program.

Nichols has gone from the Penthouse to the $hithouse in less than two weeks.

That's pretty harsh, especially when he had a shutout on Tuesday. And frankly kept them in the 1st PC game and the ND tie, too. At some point you need to score some goals and not rely on your back stop 100% of the time to steal games for you. And if they don't play well in front of him, you could put Gump Worsley in there and it won't matter.
