Rob Nichols full cleared and all three UConn goalies (Steve Thulin, Tanner Creel) expected to play a period Saturday exhib vs. Queen's.

Glad only 1 period on sat. He should play only in 1 away game in Alabama, not both. We need him for a full season. He will likely take as many shots as he did last year. Hopefully not 40+ a game...

I would be really disappointed if he took as many shots as he did last year. If he does, that means the offense is not improving and the defensemen are not moving the puck up ice. It would be a step back. With Letunov, the sophomores a year older and hopefully a healthy Richardson, there is no way Nichols should be facing the same number of shots. Especially, with Austin, Gendron, and Masonius moving the puck out of the back end.
