I have to say, that was painful going from the high quality resolution of the Georgetown game to the abomination that was the Maryland Eastern Shore footage.

Seriously though, great work! I think we're going to have a lot of fun watching Cole play here for two years.

From game footage that was already available on YT:

Thanks @tcf15,

R.J. Cole can score on 3 levels. Sneaky good, smooth, good shot selection, makes it all look easy, terrific passer with a full court IQ. I see his game getting better in a better league, surrounded by better players.

A LOT to like about RJ coming in. Very excited for him as a prospect.

MEAC isn't great bball, but D1 is D1, no way around that.

Shooting ability translate to a higher level better than anything.

Hits ahead to shooters really well. High IQ guy all-around. He has been well coached. That's obvious.

I think a year with Sal to improve his athleticism will be really helpful.

I'd also like to see him work on his handles. Definitely fundamentally sound, but he needs to play a little lower and be more creative.

Man, I'd love to have him for this season. With him I feel much better about our odds of being tourney team.

Recently, ESPN ranked transfer players:

Sit-out transfers (eligible in 2020-21 season)

11. RJ Cole, 6-1, 185 pounds, PG, Soph., Howard

Committed to UConn
One of the most productive players in college basketball last season, Cole will look to translate his numbers at a higher level in the AAC. Averaged 21.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.4 assists.

That ranking sucks. No way is Quinerly better than RJ.

Add Eric Williams Jr and Duruji too.

Things I really liked:
Ability to switch speeds.
Ability to dribble on a yo-yo with both hands.
Ability to use off hand to shoot.
Silky smoothness.
Crisp passing.
Extremely quick transition from dribbling to shot.
Accuracy and smoothness of shot.
Beard.

Things I did not like:
Potato camera used for filming.

Things I want to review:
His defense - I'm expecting it to be solid, but tough to tell from a highlight video that is - appropriately - focused on his O game.

Looking forward to this kid being a pillar for us.

I like the idea he’s going to push AG in practice. Those are going to be some great battles that Al will benefit from. I’d pay to see it
