I have liked Mingo & Rippey but the Rippey ship has sailed. I think Mingo would be a great get but I can understand him being less of a priority with Demary here. On the other hand, Demary's impact here is assumed, as is his staying in place for a second year. If he has as big an impact as we expect, he will also have a high market value. Some of the 5* rating on these lists is NBA projection. I do think Diane is 5* worthy with respect to college impact. I think he would be the best player to build our roster but it would be hard to see happening. (I said the same thing about Mullins, so you never know). We never got involved with Marcis Ponder #37 who has committed to Fl State. Kieta looks great and I noticed Diane's highlight real never included Kieta on the court when Diane played Kieta's team. (I think Kieta wore #137 in that event) From my watching, Cloer projects a similar path to what Ross & Abraham have been. He can be an excellent role player. He can shoot, but if he is replacing Karaban in a line up with Reibe he needs to rebound, and he seems closer to Polley in that regard. He is always up in the mix but seldom comes down with the ball. Toure or Samuels I would welcome as impact scorers and disruptors, but I have seen them both shine and also both lay eggs. I've watched 2 games with Junior County and haven't seen a noteworthy play yet to even comment on. I have no idea what he can do nor if he was nursing an injury or something when I watched him. Offensively he didn't handle the ball at all, he didn't go for rebounds, he drifted behind the arc with no movement to get open. I checked and rechecked the player listing because I assumed I must be watching the wrong player. It seems we have no interest in Reed's brother but I wish we did. You need at least 1 player at least 6'8 on a team with physical strength as an attribute. Landrew is #16 on this list. 6'10 Costello who is better than Cloer is now #27 from Boston and shocking to not be after him to replace Alex. 7'1 235lb Favour Ibe is another player that we aren't involved with that I wish we were #123 on the list will prove out higher than that. Another 6'8 'Adama' at Putnam Science I have not seen.
