RIP Tony Dicicco

Former US Women's NT coach (99ers) Tony Dicicco has passed away. He was from CT, graduated from Springfield College.

Only 68. I hadn't heard he was sick, but the release (his son) says he faced his health challenges head on.

Damn. Great coach and a great commentator. Always appreciated his analysis when he was on games.

Being from East Hartford across the river from him, Tony DiCicco was always in the soccer conversation. He was big-time. Sorry to hear that he's gone...

This hits hard for me. I played for Tony for two years, he was a unbelievable coach and even better person.
