I am very sad to hear this. She was a funny actress and excellent in Tootsie and Young Frankenstein.

Always one of my favorites as well. Besides Tootsie and Young Frankenstein, I liked her in Mister Mom with Michael Keaton.

She also guest starred in the "Gary 7" Star Trek episode that was actually a pilot that never caught on.

RIP to a woman who brought so many great memories. Great comedic flair. Lovely in Young Frankenstein but I think I first remembered her in Close Encounters and Mr. Mom. Early on she danced in Elvis shows.

She was also in an episode of "The Twilight Zone" as I recall.

I am going to be curious how long the thread lasts. My last RIP lasted about half an hour.

I always loved her. Teri, like Betty White, had that quick wit and great banter skills! Teri will be missed. I guess I will watch "Mr. Mom" in her honor. RIP, Ms. Garr.

I loved her acting and she seemed like a wonderful person too. I may have to go watch Young Frankenstein again. They're all gone now.

Teri was every casting director’s dream actor. It was like the writers wrote the role for her, no matter how diversified her roles were. Loved her appearances in McCloud as Sgt. Norton. RIP Teri.
