He and Madden were a great broadcasting team. I always felt they were they best football announcers of their era.

One of the great sportscasters, equally adept at football and golf.

New York Football Giants #88, Tight End and Placekicker. His nickname derived from Point After Touchdown.

Pat made one of the greatest kicks ever against the Browns to put the Giants in the postseason in 1958. He kicked it in near blizzard conditions, somewhere in the 45 - 50 yard range (the yardlines and markers were covered with snow). No one seemed sure that the refs could even see whether it were good or not!
