Sad only 52, was one solid pro, one of the forgotten guys from that 84 draft class. He stuck around long enough to win a ring on the 99 Spurs.

In reading an article about Kersey I also learned that Kevin Duckworth passed away a few years ago, which up until now I was not aware of. Kersey, Duckworth, and Drazen Petrovic were all great Portland players who died far too young.

Loved the 89/90 squad with Kersey, Duckworth, Petrovic, Drexler, Terry Porter and of course, Cliff Robinson.
