As a kid my bed time was right when Hill Street Blues came on TV. My dad would let me stay up through the opening scene and theme song.
Rewatched the series during COVID. Great stuff on that show and funny to see how many cameos there were by actors and actresses before they became famous.

Sounds like it still held up. The best bad guy was Dennis Franz as Lou Benedetto. That was a bad man.
