Composer of arguably the most iconic movie scores in history with director Sergio Leone (who famously didn't allow Kubrick to use Morricone for A Clockwork Orange - imagine how that might've turned out). Extremely prolific, with more than 500 movie and TV scores to his credit and worked right up to his passing.
