Wasn’t sure where to post this. Grew up listening to this voice of New England sports, as I’m sure most of you did.

[Many of us will remember Bob from his days in Hartford,] where he’d called Whalers hockey games and even suggested the team use “Brass Bonanza” – the team’s theme song that remains popular even now, long after the franchise moved to North Carolina.

He lived a good life. Great at what he did, was nice to everybody, won at the track. He was a great play-by-play for the Whale. He did an awesome "Score!"

Wish there was a sad button, because he was a great sportscaster! Prayers to his family!!
