I needed something on in the background so I re-watched seasons 4 and 5 of Entourage. A few observations:

1) This show may never be broadcast on one of HBO channels ever again. Some of the sexism and homophobia doesn't age well post #metoo.
2) Ari Gold is one of the funniest characters in comedy history, and there will NEVER be another character like him on television. Someone this abusive, sexist, racist and homophobic would be a challenge to put on TV today.
3) Most of the leads are just bad actors, including Vince (Adrien Grenier), E (Kevin Connolly) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). It is really noticeable with some of the stronger guest stars. Stellan Skarsgard has an arc in season 5 and makes Vince look like a coat rack in every scene he is in.

On the plus side, it is fun escapism and still enjoyable 10+ years later.

It's actually a Mark Wahlberg biography.

Not exactly. Wahlberg was the inspiration, but several of the plotlines were based on other events. The Aquaman plot line was based on Tobey McGuire's contract process for Spiderman.
