Not a mod , but just a request: can folks please stop with the thread titles that are just a persons name?

What happened??

Did they win an award?
Get injured?
Do something nice?
Decide to transfer?
Play well?
Die?

You gotta click on every single one to find out if something noteworthy happened.

Verbs, people. Could everyone use some?

With my poor understanding of English it would never have me in a disagreement with one who goes by @Vowelguy .
What I will say on the topic is what you are describing is clickbait which is a noun and a verb. ;)
Agree with your post though for those that care but don't have time to surf every thread. Too bad this was about a bird rather than a verb.

it's no reference to linguistic skills. On the SATs, I did much better on Math than Verbal. :)

[Since it sounds like you're non-US, SAT= a high school standardized test, often a key part of one's college application]

I always think of The Blimp whenever I hear The Bird.

It may also be two verbs, or two nouns, or an attributive noun and another noun. English is weird. And fun.
