Report Card vs UMKC

T. Smith- 8.5
J. Adams- 8.5
A. Gilbert- 7.5
J. Carlton- 6.5
T. Polley- 6.5
E. Cobb- 6.5
K. Yakwe- 6.0
C. Vital- 5.5
B. Adams- 5.0

Player of the Match- Jalen Adams
Red Panda-10
Why isn't player of the match a tie if Adams and Smith have the same score?

UConn missed 20 FGA. Vital missed 11 of them, and had a slew of turnovers. 5.5 is extremely generous.
4 Assists + 10 Rebounds (3 offensive) kept him afloat. And not all of his misses were bad shots.
Having said all that, no, he's not NBA ready.

Christian was a little out of control, but led the team in rebounds and floor burns. Smith was great. Jalen was effortlessly great on offense and played spirited D! Time to make juice.

Disagree on your player of the game. Smith was the leading scorer and absolutely scorched the nets, shooting 10-12 from the floor, and played a near perfect game. What more does he need to do?
A tough call indeed. But ultimately our committee was sold by Jalen’s play on the defensive side of the ball.

You have a committee for this? Lol, OK.

Anyway, your "committee" seems to be in the minority. SNY named Smith player of the game, and In a poll in another thread here on the boneyard Smith is running away with it at almost 80% (Jalen is at 8%).

Defensive changing performances are easily overlooked. But no worries for you Mr. 33, the wise guys can point it out a mile away.

Mr. 33 on AG- "His catch and shoot in this video scares me. He catches the ball at his chest, then brings the ball down to his waist (every time) before going into his shooting motion. No bueno."

Shoots the ball very bueno to me.

He 10 rebounds contested every loose ball and played with intensity on D. His offensive game sucks right but his motor is great.

It's not how, it's how many.
