Not at all man! Simply put I think a lot of us on here taking this a bit far to the point where it is getting toxic. The situation stinks for all of us man and it is very painful so I'm with everyone on the frustration just not on the "best" way to move forward. Worse case scenario is kind of playing out for us but I also remember his contribution to our program with those very good teams in the early to mid 90's leading fast breaks and setting up our scorers. I remember him repin' UCONN to the fullest in the NBA for 13 years when we did not have a ton of players in the league. I remember his contribution to the 2011 title team as an Assistant. I remember his effort his first year when we were on probation and certainly remember 2014 and our National Title. I was there in Dallas in Jerry's World sitting in the belly of Gator fans and on title night Wildcat fans. We were the underdogs and beat that Blue blood program again. So that is what it is man. If the Administration decides to move on then so be it but I have these memories. UCONN Nation has these memories and he deserves much more respect than what he is getting on this board. Calhoun is gone man and he is not coming back. There is no magic bullet or quick fixes. No one is walking in here with a starting 5 of 5 or 4 start recruits. Calhoun didn't even get that. We had a HOF coach for 26 years and what a tremendous blessing that was. Transition is painful but our program will be back on track at some point. Right now I seek positive energy in our program and from my UCONN brothers and sisters because I care that much and like I said the level of disrespect in my opinion is crossing so many lines especially for some one that has contributed what he has to UCONN as a player, a UCONN advocate, Assistant Coach and Head Coach that led us to our 4th National Title. That is really all it is and I'm o.k. with giving him 2018 with a healthy squad going in and depth but that is about where it ends for me as it pertains to our program. I'm not going to lose sleep if he doesn't make to the end of the season or next year however this nastiness from some of us will be remembered. Yes this is actually how we treat someone who has significantly contributed to our program.
