It seems that rental car prices have greatly increased since 2020 and are not coming down. I was quoted a price of $150 for one day at Bradley a few weeks ago. Late last year I spent more than $800 for a rental car for about 10 days out of Bradley. This was cheaper than Boston but still seems excessive. Does anyone have any information on why and if rental car prices will ever come down?

I'm having the same experience in Savannah. Plus several rental agencies are simply out of cars. This was the case across several different weeks I checked. Even 9 months ago I paid maybe 1/3 of what they are asking now.
