Reminder: F4 Friday/Sunday in Dallas and beyond

The committee also finalized the playing days for the 2017-19 Women’s Final Fours, which will all be played using a Friday/Sunday format. The 2017 Women’s Final Four at American Airlines Center in Dallas will be held on Friday, March 31 and Sunday, April 2. The 2018 Women’s Final Four in Columbus, Ohio, (Nationwide Arena) will take place Friday, March 30 and Sunday, April 1. The 2019 Women’s Final Four will be held Friday, April 5 and Sunday, April 7 at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay, Fla.

I got an email from the NCAA stating that there will be a pre-sale for FF tickets but it will be for those who purchased tickets for the Regional finals in Dallas. There is also a sale going on now for the end zone balcony tickets.

I don't want to make too much of this, but maybe this will help make WCBB FF more closely watched, as it now precedes the men's FF. It won't be so much an afterthought as a warm up. I don't like the idea of it being a "warm up", but if it helps create audience, that'd be great. Certainly, it could help with attendance (over a Sat. night)
