In homage to Rockville's own, the late, great Gene Pitney. RIP. He died too soon, nine years ago this coming Final Four Weekend. (4/5/6)

In anticipation of what should be the most nearly "competitive" of the first 15 conference games. (Improving team, good coach, at home)

Assuming the women will fly out tomorrow night for their first visit there.

We are Twenty-four hours from Tulsa.

Hopefully Tulsa will not be A Town Without Pity for them. Surely UConn is Gonna be Strong there. The opponents will think They must be seeing things. As the starters start getting more minutes, they will get stronger with Every Breath They Take. As the season continues, let their Half be Heaven and the opponents' Half be Heartache. And when the elimination games start, may the other Girls Belong to Yesterday.

Ah yes, the Rockville Rocket.
Nice job tying it all together in your post.

He could anything; rock, contemporary, country. Check out some of his duets with George Jones. A most unusual voice which I mimicked in the shower almost daily. Loved him.

Love Gene Pitney...whether as a boy listening to The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance...recognizing him capturing the emotion on the sound track of the black & white Town Without Pity...or learning for the first time that It Hurts to be in Love and only Love Can Break a Heart...only to find only love can mend it again...

Ah yes, the Rockville Rocket.
Nice job tying it all together in your post.
Yeah thanks - but if only he had written "Hello Katie Lou" instead "Mary Lou" for Ricky Nelson...................................
