Redemption!..Official UCONN vs Maryland Terps prediction thread

With FUCRE coming to the Rent for the first time since his less than classy departure, and the shattering loss to Towson last game, emotions are running high. The Huskies channel that emotion into a physical effort on both sides of the ball.

UCONN uses McCombs, Delorenze and in a surprise, Mariner, to rack up a solid 130 yards on the ground. Whitmer goes 20-30 with good production from Davis, Foxx and McQuillen. He throws for two TDs, but does throw a pick.

On defense, this group comes back to life and Jones has a huge game. Joseph gets back to pressuring the QB and that sets up Obi for his second pick of the season.

Christen hits a FG with less the two minutes remaining. It's the margin of victory for UCONN 24-21.

Speaking as one with a passing knowledge of human anatomy, unless you have some very unusual affliction I can pretty much guarantee that your heart isn't > than your head. That being said I completely agree with both of your predictions.

If I had to make a choice over which team from Maryland I would like to beat to start this season at 1-1, and I have been given no option but to make that choice, I would pick University of Maryland.
