recruiting the PAC12 area

We need to be targeting this area of the country now that the PAC12 is looking real weak. I imagine Chill would have contacts out there.
Need to get things in order soon and find some shooters.

Nah, looking at how Hurley recruits he does it geographically. Just about all of his prospects are from the east coast.

I wouldn’t put it past the guy to look at talent on the west coast. he also likes looking at Europe’s talent as well.

I agree. If he's as good of recruiter as advertised might be worth keeping him around. If we end up with Hurley it might be a good recruiting combo.

If we get Hurley, there's enough talent in New Jersey, NY, and New England to make UConn an elite team again. Maybe throw in the DMV.

UConn was built on recruiting the entire country in addition to locking down NE/NYC. Recruiting California should not be abandoned just because "Ollie did it."

It's probably harder to get kids outside the region to URI. I bet half the recruits outside the Northeast couldn't even point to Rhode Island on a map!

Agreed. He built a reputation elsewhere, isn't as contaminated by the KO stink.

The others I'm ambivalent about, Ricky Moore especially. Less nepotism and more knowing how to coach, please.
