After coaches land big classes like Baylor did, it's rare that they follow up a monster class with another good one. Examples of this include: 1999 TASSK force--Geno landed what may have been his deepest class ever and then followed it up with just Kennitra Johnson who transferred after her sophomore year. 2002 UCONN-Geno landed another 5 man class (Turner, Strother, Goring, Crockett, Wolff) and then basically struck out in 2003 2004 6 pack-Pat landed a monster 6 man class in 2004 and followed it up with just a 1 player class in 2005, that player quit basketball after a year or two. 2008 Tennessee-Pat landed another loaded 6 man class and followed it up with a 2 player class in 2009. Both of the 2009 kids played all 4 years but neither were big contributors early on. Looking at Baylor though, a replacement for Brown is nice but I don't think it's necessary. Forecasting for 2019-20, you'll have: C-Queen Egbo, So F/C-Lauren Cox, Sr F-Nalyssa Smith, So F-Caitlin Bickle, So F-Aquira Decosta, So G-Didi Richards, Jr G-Juicy Landrum, Jr G-Honesty Scott-Grayson, So G-Alexis Morris, Jr The roster breakdown is actually pretty manageable, and it looks like there's a good opportunity for playing time for each of the 5 recruits from 2018. If Baylor lands another quality big in 2019, the lineup gets jammed in the frontcourt IMO with Smith, Decosta, Cox, Egbo and Bickle all sharing PT for 2-3 spots on the floor. Even if they don't land anyone else in 2019, on paper Baylor looks very well positioned to contend for a title in 2019-20 along with Connecticut and Oregon.
