I often get the sense that she’s an actress trying too hard to play a character in movies. Ghost would be the exception. Timeline is fine as the middle movie and I agree with your characterization that it’s mediocre. I didn’t feel like there was adequate character development which made it kind of tough to follow if you haven’t read the books. Congo being the best of the three is faint praise, but there was some action and some tension.
