In the last year or so there has been a run on movies focusing on Great Britain early in World War II.  Oscar nominees "Dunkirk" and "Darkest Hour" are two of them.  Another recent film from this period is "Their Finest", which takes place just after Dunkirk, and centers on the British film industry.  A woman is hired to help write a movie about a small piece of the Dunkirk evacuation, with instructions from above that the movie being made will be one that will help lift the spirits of the British people.  Another word for it is a propaganda film.  "Their Finest" is an above average movie.  The best part of "Their Finest" is the film being made within the film, which contains some priceless stuff, along with the performance of Bill Nighy, who plays one of the actors in this film that is being made.
