For me the best scene in the film was Kenneth Branagh on the dock looking out into the English Channel, and seeing the mass flotilla of small boats finally coming to evacuate the troops. That scene finally captured the scale of what was going on at Dunkirk, and made me feel more positive about what I was watching.
