Any notions of SMU playing down to their ban can be dismissed at this point. They look like Lob City at (an admittedly rebuilding) Stanford. Johnny Dawkins can still coach and his cupboard isn't bare. SMU must generate more shots from 3 feet and in than any other team in CBB. They will continue to be a total pain in the ass.

Cinci has played 3 "~200 level" teams, but they are averaging 95 ppg, they are shooting 44% from three and sharing the basketball. That kind of firepower with the defense they have is scary.

Tulsa has the best scalp of the conference so far beating the shockers with a hobbled Van Vleet at home. They hit 10 threes in the process.

Nobody will care in March, but Memphis went 9 rounds with OU at FedEx this week before Memphis'ing the game away in the closing minutes. Dedric Lawson is a problem. Shaq Goodwin hasn't gone anywhere. Unfortunately neither has Pastner.

Temple rebounded from the UNC drubbing to beat Ricky Junior's Gophers, a bottom tier B1G team but a P5 win none the less. We'll take it.

Houston might actually be improved because they scored 110 in their opener, unfortunately we really have no idea because they are still scheduling one of the 5 worst teams in college basketball, Prarieview A&M, which is basically a large highschool just outside of Houston.

UCF played a GOOD davidson team close and a decent UC Irvine really close. So Kudos to them for being a respectable 0-2 as opposed to their traditional non respectable 0-2.

Speaking of non respectable ofer's, South Florida. Tulane managed a W in their 3 game chit sandwhich.

Maybe we can continue to track the Key Win's and Bad Losses in this thread as we roll through pre-season tourney time.

Just pretend UCF, USF and Tulane aren't in this conference.

Please provide an AAC specific spreadsheet, countrywide statistical breakdowns/comparisons, and some graphics in your research OkaFor. Thanks for your work.

Dude I leave for Paradise on Sunday. The only spreadsheet I'll be producing in the near term will be to keep track of my bets at the casino and how many rum drinks I've put down.

What about the other teams? There are other teams right? I cant remember them all

I forgot about East Carolina, 2-0 with wins over really bad teams. Going to get pasted by Cal tonight.

Why would keep track of drinks? I plan on forgetting how many...at least until my room bill comes next Sunday morning.

OK, I will review that one and let you know how you went, where you can improve, and what you need to do to get there. Best.

UC Irvine is a good team. They may even be a better team than Davidson. They have 2 projected 1st team Big West players along with the front runner for player on the year. They are projected to repeat as the Big West conference champions. They have the top rated backcourt in the big west and 2nd rated frontcourt.

This is just about the same team that almost beat Louisville in the tourney last year. They were pretty much 1 play away from winning that game.

Have to give UCF a lot of credit for keeping it close in their 1st 2 games. Both teams they played are NCAA tournament caliber

Temple has to be the worst-shooting/finishing team I've ever seen. Good god.
