Probably my son's best basketball coach was a former UNC woman's basketball player. She was a very strong Xs and Os coach, but her strongest skill was in player evaluation, whereby she saw the strengths of every player and put them in positions to succeed. It was a fun season, and yes, in the end they won it all.
