Huge 3 (after being 0-6) and disrupts the last play on D. Like Game 6 all over again. Another clutch 3 for the Hall of Fame reel.

And the refs were consistent with awarding the Nets the ball out of bounds on the exact same type of play as Thunder-Clippers, after missing the foul on LeBron.

Yeah. They should have gotten the last inbounds to RA instead of LeBron and wouldn't have had all the drama. Ray is so clutch.

Ray sent Pierce and KG fishing, when Lebron leaves the court without shaking hands he's classless but when KG doesn't shake hands he's a warrior, I like the double standard the media makes.

KG didn't even address the media after the game, guy is just not very gracious in defeat and as a 37-year-old, it's pretty remarkable that he's still that immature.

Plus, although Ray was clutch people are forgetting that the Nets second best player , Brook Lopez , didn't play in these games. Pierce and KG ( especially KG) were brought in to be complents to Williams , Johnson and Lopez. That changes everything.

All I know is that JJ is not on the top level of NBA players. He's still tier 2.

Chalmers deferral was smart and huge. He had the shot but went with percentages.

I noticed also that Lebron was bullying players to the point of fouling them. I guess its great to be the King. He's just a damn nightmare to play against, especially when he doesn't want to lose (last 3 minutes).

As for handshakes, well got to give players a pass after blowing a late lead, losing on a 3 point shot, not getting a final shot off and getting eliminated to boot. Its demoralizing and too much for some. Pierce, Kidd and many others showed class. Please don't lump Garnett with that group.

You say bullying, I say meeting force with force. Joe Johnson is used to being the bigger guy and being able to back his defender into an easy midrange jumper (like Melo does). LeBron stayed in front of him and most importantly, didn't use his hands to guard. This is the NBA. If you don't put your hands on a guy, they're gonna let you bang some. If you want foul calls on those plays, LeBron is gonna shoot 30 FTs every night.

Win or lose, I honestly wish the Bruins weren't playing last night so I could have watched it happen.

edit and wow, that three was his only make in seven attempts that night. That's Ray for you; he's still a cold silent killer

Look at the bright side, you got to see a pathetic, whiny bunch of entitled wussies get their comeuppance. Wasn't it great?

Lucic is a real tough guy threatening to kill a guy in the handshake line.

LOVE RAY! My favorite of all time, tho I think Bazz &/or Kemba may replace him after his retirement. Speaking of, does Ray retire at the end of this season or does that depend on whether or not he gets another ring?

I don't think anyone is forgetting, they just realize its a non factor because he barely played all year.

27 threes from reaching 3000 for his career. I think he plays one more year. That's too big a thing to leave on the table particularly when he's that close.

Ok so maybe the Nets take the Heat to six competitive games, and while they get Lopez back next year, Pierce and KG are another year older, you gotta have a lot of luck when you put a team together for the short term.

This is true. The Heat have the best player in the world and everyone's role is defined . That takes time and the Nets probably need another year together but that may not happen do to the age of Pierce and KG.
