I am ready to give up on all of this and say that colleges should just set up separate for-profit entities that will be empowered to pay players. The colleges simply have to figure out how much in assets they have tied up (ie facilities) and how the new entities will be able to reimburse them for those assets. Just separate the two entities entirely.

This is the first time we've been mentioned in this ongoing this mega-scandal, yeah? So far so good

Just note this was the list of staff members who took bribes to steer kids towards certain financial advisers once they went pro. Most of these guys listed didn't pay any kids.

"their coaches would have been offered, and likely accepted, money."

This is an indictment of UConn's integrity. Is it worthy of a letter, or more, from UConn's attorneys to Mr. Norlander? Just who is Norlander anyway?

We won't get knocked with anything retroactively I don't think.

But I don't know who was worse, the goofs on that staff or the goofs that threw themselves on sword after sword for them. How freaking embarrassing.

I’m sorry, but Chillious is and has been a joke. He rode Markell Fultz’s coattails into a little bit of respect, but no matter where he has gone the team has been a train wreck. He clearly can’t coach, and given that Otz played a big role in recruiting Fultz too, I’m not sure what other proof there is that he’s even a good recruiter.

This is all without even mentioning that he was willing to take bribes to steer kids he coached towards specific agents. He’s a loser through any lens.
