PREDICTIONS

Tomorrow's AP:
1 UCLA (1)
2 ND (2)
3 Texas (3)
4 USC (6)
5 UConn (7)
6 SoCar (4)
7 LSU (5)
8 OhioSt (9)

Committee (we wont see a real update until 2/26)
1 UCLA (1)
2 Tex (3)
3 SoCar (2)
4 ND (4)
5 USC (5)
6 UConn (7)
7 LSU (6)
8 NCst (8)

South Carolina has no chance of holding onto a top 4 spot in the rankings after this game. UConn should move ahead of Texas tomorrow and if they don't they will before the end of the season. UCLA must beat USC at least once or they will fall out of the top line too, they just don't have enough tough games to have 2 or 3 losses down the stretch.

ND most likely will be the overall number 1 seed in the tournament unless they stumble down the stretch. The Big Ten is always overrated in WCBB and it appears they have a couple good teams this year followed by a slew of average teams.

Unless SC collapses down the stretch it has a #1 seed locked up.

In today's committee rankings, ND was #4. Highly unlikely they rise up to #1 overall since not enough top games to gain stature.

Curious why you predict UConn overtaking TX in tomorrow's rankings or before the end of the season. They only have 2 losses (to ND and South Carolina) and more high-quality wins that we do. To me, they're one of the teams solidifying their position.

Polls and committee are of course two different items, that surprisingly have nothing to do with each other.

Still plenty of opportunity for change with big games left, and teams taking losses in their conference tournament.

While SC game was awesome, and was enough to already make UConn #1 in LasVegas, it probably is still not enough to get us a #1 seed with the committee.

Vs good teams, UConn is still 2-3. Wins v SC and NC, losses v ND, USC and TN. The group of UCLA, ND, TX and SC highly likely to be better than that.

Still the #5 plays the #4 anyway, so #5 is good.

We can hope for some more upsets and see how it plays out.

UConn's not passing USC this week, so highest Huskies could be is #6.

This is all really off base....are you talking rankings or NCAA seedings?

-Texas absolutely will be ranked ahead of UCONN tomorrow. They're ranked 4 spots higher than UCONN right now and beat two top 10 teams this week. Their collection of wins rivals anyone in the country there's no reason why they'd drop.

-UCLA has better wins than UCONN and is a 1 loss team. They're solidly on the 1 line (although if they lose to Michigan State tonight, they might drop to bubble territory.) In the polls they'll definitely be ahead of UCONN.

-Notre Dame was the #4 team in the NCAA reveal today. Not sure how you figure they're going to jump up to #1 unless all of the teams above them implode, which is quite unlikely.

Polls I think they'll jump to 5. Committee they're locked in at #6 or #7 unless a top 6 team loses 2 games to teams outside of the top 7.

Yes, as I noted in my original post.
And I was responding to someone clearly talking about seedings.

Wow, I love the huskies too, but please, not making top 4. UCLA, TX, ND, SC then USC, UConn (these could be switched), LSU and ? (I think KY).

Kentucky is projected as a 4 seed right now, they're a long shot for a 2. NC State was the #8 overall seed but that'll change after losing today. TCU or Duke likely moves up and takes their spot. If Duke knocks off Notre Dame tomorrow (unlikely, but possible) then I think they're moved up to the 2 line.
