Another week, another round of losses for top 10 teams (many who were playing each other). Some thoughts on what the rankings tomorrow look like:
1. SC (duh)
2. UCLA (they were always penalized too much for that USC road loss)
3. Kansas St (can they jump even CO?! I know Lee is out for 4 weeks, but will voters base their current ranking on future results?)
4. Colorado (a 1-1 week against UCLA and USC is nothing to be ashamed of)
5. Stanford (not necessarily a ranking I agree with, but they had a 2-0 week)
6. Iowa (an OT loss to a ranked conference foe on the road is not end of world)
7. UConn (the rise continues)
8. LSU (see Stanford)
9. USC (0-2 on the road against Utah and Colorado is no cause for panic, but you're going to drop after that week)
10. Texas (the wheels have not fallen off without Rori)
11. Nc State (a big fall but a loss to an unranked team will not be looked upon kindly)
12. Ohio State (that Iowa win jump will be real)
13. Utah (so will that USC win jump)
14. Baylor (meh)
15. Indiana (also, meh)
