Huh, Saturday radio with Kiper and Golic. Surprising to me all the way around.

If I recall correctly, Edsall was on ESPN radio quite a few times when he was coaching at UConn. Of course, we were in a better conference. I don't know about Diaco.

After Mrs. G's little Twitter eruption following Diaco's firing that should be interesting.

Randy spills the beans on what his job at Detroit really meant.

"A little bit of everything." Evaluating free agents, college draft possible, special game situation plans for Jim Bob Cooter, assisting with time management and reviewing plays during the game for possible coach's challenges.

Nothing much said
Talked about Lions then touched on bringing back UConn to where it was and beyond, 25 NFL players from UConn and finally about coaching with his son Corey at UConn
maybe 10 minutes - no more

Positive feed back from Dari and Mel.

Funny how time changes perception. At the time UConn made it to the Fiesta Bowl it was all about what's wrong with the bowl system that UConn made it, the ticket sales, etc.

Now, it's like damn, UConn made the Fiesta Bowl under Randy Edsall. This can be a legit program again.

Otherwise, standard blurbs about players in the NFL, Rent can become a tough place to play and having his kid work for him.

I'm glad he referenced the RGIII quote that the Rent was the loudest stadium he ever played in during his collegiate career. We need to get back to that kind of attendance, excitement and home field advantage.

Make UConn football great again!
