I know....weird question but....

I'm going to the game solo with only my 5 year old daughter tomorrow...The wife can't make it. Its just hitting me that in the 5 years we've been taking her to games, I've never once had to take her to the bathroom....my wife has always had that responsibility.

I'll do my best to keep her dehydrated but im sure at some point, it'll be an issue. Does anyone know if there are any family type of bathrooms? I'd rather not drag her into the scene in the mens room

There is a first aid office behind section 104 or 105. It is equipped with EMTs and nurses. I am not sure if there is a restroom in there, if not I'm sure one of the nurses would escort her to the ladies room.

I believe that to the immediate left of the Men's Room at the 50 yard line on the press box side IS either a family bathroom (or it may be a wheelchair access facility). Check it out or Call Rentschler stadium facilities for inquiries.

That is very real concern. I take my little girl everywhere with me and I literally clean the men's room before I let her get anywhere near anything. Then its "don't touch that", "don't let your pants touch the floor", "watch out for that puddle" etc. I love the family restroom concept. It is a lifesaver for a Dad with little kids out on the town.

Yes there is. And I bet there is one on the other side as well. I think the strategy is to go during game action for less chance of a line.

Thanks guys....I got a hold of a guy at The Rent. He said there are essentially 2 on each side of the stadium. I'm in 224 and the closest to me will be in building 9 near Gate D ...and another in building 4 ( which Im assuming must be near Gate C)

I never noticed that the concession stands and bathroom buildings are numbered, but i guess they are...and I'm sure I walked past these bathrooms hundreds of times and never noticed.

Dennis, congrats on sharing the UCONN football experience with your daughter. I tell people that I am a "genetic NY Giants fan" thanks to my Dad. I'm grateful that he tolerated my girl questions and enthusiasm as I learned about the game as a pre-teen. He still answers questions and doesn't seem to mind the chattering and cheering--much. I still have my "lucky seat" in his living room which was the difference for the Giants last February (OK, not.) Our shared interest in football (all sports, really) is a wonderful part of our relationship.

I hope you and your daughter have a great day tomorrow--girl Junior Huskies rock!

Yeah the first aid room has a private bathroom in it, but it may be busy with a random drunk kid or worse. FYI it's staffed with paramedics and a doctor. Feel free to ask though we are generally friendly people, I promise!

The things dads will do for our children that they won't ever thank us for doing for them.

Now you tell me about family bathrooms. So ... standing outside the ladies room door, and yelling "are you still OK?!?!?" every time the door swings open as women walk in and out and give you strange looks, wasn't the best way to go???

I'm such a loser dad ...

Make sure you take her during the game. Unfortunately at half time there can be a long line of drunks waiting to use the "family" bathroom. Also from experience bring a hat for her, it might not be needed so much today but the sun even on a colder day can be brutal on a kid. Even better buy one of those pink Uconn ones guys sell in the tailgate lots for $5. Nothing brightens up a girl more than buying her a souvenir at the game.

Sounds like you're empowering her ;) . Now just don't do the same thing when you drop her off at the school dance.

I remember those days all too well.
