She told me to put sign out at the end of block Wednesday evening for a little early advertising for the Saturday and Sunday sale. WTF.  I had people in my backyard looking around on Wednesday night!  We didn't even have anything out yet.  So I walked down the block and pulled the sign out.  Too late.  Thursday and Friday I left work early to sit in my driveway and tell people the sale starts on Saturday.  There is an entire yard sale industry that I was unaware of and the true pros show up days early to beat the casuals. Saturday and Sunday were no better.  We had a lot of kids clothes and toys but we also had some things that had some value.  Nothing like someone offering $5 for something you paid over $100 bucks for.  Anyway, it's a distant memory but still painful to think about.  We are empty nesters now so we don't have lot of stuff around but when we do want to sell something Facebook marketplace has been excellent.
