Spotted him as we both were walking down 7th Ave today in NYC right near MSG.

Fist bumped over a " UUUUConnnn". He seemed legit shocked anyone would recognize him haha.

Was the only bright spot in a week of walking by MSG/Big east tournament everyday.

The sight of all those Cuse fans milling around is enough to make me sick.

If we stayed healthy this year and had Chuck, we'd be top 15, borderline top 10.

Chuck averaged less than 3 points and 3 rebounds as a senior. He was a decent role player, but we were a Roscoe away from being a top 10 team this year.

How many minutes? I thought he was a pretty solid rebounder and a good defender, which for this front court would be a pretty big boost.

Also, I agree about Roscoe. Unfortunately he wasn't happy at the 4, but his departure did lead to Deandre's emergence.

I don't see that Roscoe would have made that much difference. He certainly could have helped, but he would have further jammed up the SF bodies playing the PF position. I would see him providing another player who would have added some incremental improvement in rebounding and maybe some improvement in defense against the bigger opponents compared to who we had this year. Not sure what else. By the latter part of the year, the progress shown by DD and NG might have moved him further back on the bench. I don't see him showing the offensive game that Deandre has. What am I missing? I know several people have been posting about how much Roscoe would have helped off and on throughout the year.

Always seemed to have a case of starting, playing the first 5 minutes then being buried down at then end of the bench.

Rebounding and toughness. Roscoe averaged 5.2 rebounds as a freshman. He would have certainly been a big plus at power forward this season.

He was a guy that got visibly better game by game. He'd be a 20-20 guy by now (2 years later). ;^)

Chuck was great. All he did was show up, improve, and bust his ass over his 4 years.

He gave us a 7ft. Presence in the paint. He didn't do much but he took up space and teams at least knew he was there.

Not true. He was guarding wing players on the perimeter. That is a big reason for the success we had. They couldn't shoot over him.
