Ramadan for our Huskies

Hassan Diarra, Samson Johnson, and Youssouf Singare will most likely be fasting again for Ramadan during the games until we start getting prime time games at sunset 7PM.

No need to worry guys they’ll get great nutrition at night and will be ready to go. Our most valuable player of the tournament last year Sanogo showed the boys the blueprint!

Not bad, considering Johnson — along with teammates Hassan Diarra and Youssouf Singare — fasted all day, from sunset to sundown, in observance of Ramadan. Johnson broke his fast with a drink of water midway through the second half.

"And that was pretty much it," he reported. "I kind of manage that really well, I think. I just ate a lot (Thursday) night, to have some fuel in my body."
