Little physical out there.

Yeah. Definitely different than previous 5 games. We knew that. Scrappy and defensive-minded team.

Took care of the ball, mostly...

Yah, that was Largely my fault. Shout out white team/practive guy. They help prepare us for games like this. We could be lot better. I'm the main culprit of that.

Adapt and adjust to Ole Miss play.

During shoot around, note they go hard denying passes, focus on weak side, so 5 out opens up the driving lanes.

Jana?

Jana was huge. Play with energy and all good will come. Great anchor for us. Gives us energy.

Azzi impact?

Def. the Azzi Fudd break out party. Hard to comeback from injury, especially jumping right in to real games - no exhibitions She was aggressive.

Flashback to her back-to-back 30 games...

She's as confident as ever, healthy as ever. She's on the way back .

Physical game. How handle it?

It's coming regardless. Might as well have right mindset and embrace it. That's what the practice team helps me do.

Any family here?

No family - too expensive. My UConn family is here.

Thurs Fri ready to relax. I've stayed out of sun... ready to go out and get sunburnt.

This game reminded me of NC - build lead, Ole Miss storms back. Key plays by Azzi.

It was great to have Azzi back on the floor. The kid's worked so hard. She's in better shape than before she got hurt, if that makes sense. Everyone thinks she's just a 3point shooter. She’s a really good one-on-one player. She can go off the bounce. Gave us a big lift.

They’re a very aggressive physical team. We handled it well. Officiating let it go. But, I thought the rebounding - we won over all.

2nd chance pt. Impact of Jana

Jana gave us a lot of good minutes. Rebounding the ball was a big part of it. They were trapping, so we got some easy layups from her. She needs to improve on FTs. Happy for the players. It’s still early. Great test this time of the year to play a physical team. See more teams like this down the road. This will help us.

Sarah. Makes hard passes look easy.

Shes a terrific passer. Not shooting the 3 as well as she is in practice. Every time she shoots it, I think it's going in.

Ole Miss Williams - made THREE threes all year, and this game she goes 4 for 4. Another player doesn't hit FTs, and goes 4/4. We have that effect on people.

We helped #7 on Oregon St. get on all tournament team. (grin)

Lot of layups on first half.

Teams that like to put as much pressure on the ball as they do, if we handle it, we can get uncontested layups and back door cuts. Better in first half. Not so much second.

Bahamas next?

Recover in morning. afternoon to themselves. Team dinner. Friday: either swim with dolphins or the small pigs. Voted. Pigs it is. Go to an island. I only give them votes when it doesn’t matter to me (grin)

Saturday - Back to reality.

I’m recruiting tomorrow. No rest for the weary. Going to a thanksgiving tourney. See 8 good teams . It makes sense. Might not make sense to me when I’m leaving tomorrow. (Grin)
