I have a fire tv and you still need a cable package, like Directv, to get SNY.

Depends on where you live. If you are in the SNY footprint it is available via YoutubeTV, if you are outside the SNY footprint you should be able to access it via ESPN3.

Here's a link for some of the live TV streaming services that do carry SNY. Most of these services, will tell you the locals channels and Regional sports channels you will receive, once you add your zip code, before signing up for an account. Look through the websites of these services and find the "channels you will receive" with your zip code. As @Alydar and @soxfan23 mentioned above I also live in CT and have had YouTube TV for couple years now, will never go back to regular cable providers.

Also in Florida. HULU live does not list SNY. Is it in your hulu live program? I get ESPN3 from ESPN+

Totally agree with you. And YouTubeTV offers SECN, ACCN, BTN but not the NFL Network (for those interested in this).
