Geno seems kinda chirpy [almost cheery?] about going after a couple of spring signings.
Do we have any indication of specific people that he is looking at....any at all?

I'd like to know as well. Going into next year with 8 scholarship players sounds pretty risky.

2 possible answers: 1. Geno with his vast contacts national and international probably has an inkling of who may be available and who is willing to come.
2. With all the negative posting, and I'm fairly certain he reads or someone tells him about the BY comments--you are after all his most vocal fan base--he is taking the high road and giving the public relations positive vibes to fend off more, deeper, painful negatives. After all it's a long time to May and a multitude of situations can develop.

Unfortunately, I assume, we will have to wait until school is out in the spring to hear about any grad transfers. Maybe serendipity will show up unannounced and will be a good thing.

Are you looking for their children? They’re all 40.

????..................While many of Europe’s most promising players born in 1999 already call your side of the Atlantic “home”, such as Vorackova (CZE – Syracuse), Gulbe (LAT – Indiana), N.Sabally (GER – Oregon), Sissoko (FRA – Syracuse), Raca (SRB – Wake Forest), Pinzan (ITA – South Florida), Juhasz (HUN – Ohio St.), Jordao (POR – South Florida) to name just a few, the old continent still offers plenty of talented players to follow. Let’s take a minute to see how the most promising prospects from the 1999-2000 generation have fared in the early phase of this 2018-2019 season.

I would like to see him get an 8 foot talent from Europe recommended by Sveta. That would make a difference.

Maybe he's feeling chipper because he's looking forward to a year when no one expects anything from UConn and there will be no pressure to go undefeated and come home with a national championship. He's already got 11 so he probably doesn't feel an urgent need for more, except on behalf of the players.

You can see how quickly things change...11 down to 8.

I'd take a 6-3/4 from Russia with Sveta's mentality and determination, the opponents would think her 6-8
