Question for recruiting mavens

I was in CT visiting with family the last two weeks in June. In talking with a cousin who is also a UConn grad, he expressed concern over our instate recruiting by the current staff versus BC. He said that our friends at Chestnut Hill had gotten no CT recruits for 3 years but that this year they have commitments from players that he believes should have come to Storrs. I don't follow recruiting enough to argue but is he right that no CT players commited to BC since 2009 until this year?
